Every few months we take on a few volunteers from around the world via Workaway & word of mouth.

People of all ages and lifestyles live with us in a community and volunteer with us as an organisation.

This allows people to get involved in the work that we do and be part of something that – we hope, is radical in both its values and feats. It's a fantastic way to gain experience within a community initiative and see your creative ideas put into practice.

Each stay differs as do the projects we will be working on.

We love the diversity in our team!

Here are some of the volunteers that have stayed with us over the past two years...

If you would be interested in volunteering with us don't hesitate to get in touch.

Radical Root's exhibition with Becky and Georgie was my 1st workaway experience, and it was really good! They are really friendly and make you feel at home, instantly. You have to work hard, but they also give youloads of time off to visit the city,They always checked how everyone was feeling before work. I would definitely recommend them as a host, you will have very good experiences, Oh! and there is always time to party! hahaha.

Thanks for everything girls!

These guys are great! To undertake any sort of grassroots movement is an impressive feat and if you want to be proactive I think there's a lot that you can learn from what Georgie and Becky are doing and trying to do.

There were a lot of other workawayers whilst I was there who were all interesting and friendly. It seems like they might attract those kinds of people.

In my time abroad I've met some amazing and interesting people but until I arrived at Georgie and Becky's place I had never felt so at home. These two angels gave me a place to call home over the Christmas holiday and coincidentally my birthday.

Not only did they choose to invite me into their home on what some consider the most important time of the year but they also opened their home to other travelers and CouchSurfers just days before Christmas. It was inspiring to see the unconditional hospitality these two had to offer. On my birthday and Christmas we all woke up to presents under the tree and sat down to a proper family dinners throughout the weeks; we also got the chance to meet numerous of Georgie's family, cousins, and friends. With only two weeks in Liverpool I saw more of the local culture than I thought possible.

As far as the 'work' they had us do I couldn't say I worked more than a minute the whole time I was there. Our time was taken up with venturing into town to explore and run errands then coming home to 'work' on crafts and hangout together. Then my job was to go around and advertise the art fair which meant I got to wander around the city and talk to new people, the exact reason I started traveling in the first place.

Its only happened a few times since I left home but when it came time to pack up and head to my next destination I was struck with longing to stay just a little longer. I wish I would of had more time to get to know these girls; they are inspiring and driven couple who are some of the most caring and kind people I've met on my journey. I'm extremely grateful to have met them and know I've made friends for life.

All the Best and please come visit me in the US

Staying at Becky & Georgie's place was our first workaway experience and if all of them look like this one we wouldn't mind doing it on every day basis:)

We had chosen this lovely couple as wanted to find some artistic soul buried deep inside while living in London. Girls made us feel very comfortable, their good heart, smile and positivity gave us lots of motivation and inspiration. Their idea of spreading love, hope and creativity should be expanded all over the world even if someone is not interested in art. If you meet the girls and get into what they doing you will realise that art is not only about painting, it's much more than that! That's enough, the rest find out yourself:)

Becky & Georgie have never forced us to do anything, they were very flexible and polite and made our work feel like pleasure.

And don't forget about the best companion - sweet and lovely lizard! :)

Thank you girls for the great hospitality and eye opening experience!

This was my 4th workaway, I spent one month with Georgie and Becky in Liverpool making an art exhibition.

We made and created some art, promoting and advertising the event in the city. Becky and Georgie are really friendly and a bit crazy, you'll have a good host who would like to make you well and on the top forme everyday!

Becky and Georgie are two really lovely people who are so chilled out about sharing their space. Their gorgeous doggie is also great company!
It was great having freedom to make different crafts.

f you want to be close to hang out with some truly sweet and fun people, these are the right ones! So smiley and welcoming. And so sharing too.
