On the 21st December 2014, we held an ‘Alternative Christmas Fair’. The idea was to provide an alternative to buying into the corporate giants; something that leaves families and individuals poorer and big businesses even richer.

 

Instead, we wanted to encourage more meaningful gift giving at Christmas. So we sold handcrafted gifts made by local, independent and small-scale artisans as well as our Fair Trade clothing range.

 

All proceeds went to our food parcels for the homeless project, something we’ve run the past two winters.
